Job description:
You will be expected to develop and adapt econometric methods and techniques and/or advanced modelling methods with the aim of evaluating the economic viability of online distribution models of digital contents. This job is part of a research project funded by the French National Research Agency (Expertic/ANR JC05_50058) (details on www.expertic.net).
Particularly, the position will involve the following tasks: - Advising the overall coherence of techniques and procedures that will be used to elaborate the scientific project (mathematical and econometric modelling);
- Participating in the elaboration of questionnaires together with quantitative and qualitative research methods;
- Statistical processing and data interpretation;
- Coordinating the different research teams (University of Paris 11, University of Rennes 1);
- Taking part in the validation of the project intermediate results: ability to contribute to the writing of intermediate reports, workshops and professional interviews, publications.
The Research Assistant position is tenable from October 1st 2006 for a maximum of two years (24 months)
