[UK] Postgraduate Position in Physiology and Genetics, Microbiology Department, University College Cork

A position is available in the laboratory of Dr. John Morrissey in the Microbiology Department at University College Cork to carry out a research project studying the physiology and genetics of stress tolerance and adaptation in food spoilage yeasts. This project is funded by the Department of Agriculture FIRM programme and involves collaboration within the Microbiology Department UCC and with external collaborators.
Applicants must have a first or second class honours degree in Microbiology or a related discipline and will register for an MSc degree. Progression to a PhD may be possible.
