[UK] British Council Global Exchange Program

British Council is the UK`s leading international organisation for educational and cultural relations. We connect Indonesians with the best learning opportunities and creative ideas from the United Kingdom. We also seek to build upon the many excellent relationships that already exist between our two countries.
Global Xchange is a-18-25-year-old-volunteers exchange programme, which gives young people from different countries a unique opportunity to work together, to develop and share valuable skills and to make a practical contribution where it is needed in local communities. For 6 months the volunteers will be paired up with counterparts from UK. They will live and work for 3 months in a community in the UK and for 3 months in a community in Indonesia.

Closing date for receipt of applications is Monday, 3 July 2006, 17.00 at British Council - Jakarta Stock Exchange, Tower II, Lantai 16, Jl. Jend. Sudirman Kav. 52 -53, Jakarta 12190, Indonesia or email us to GX@britishcouncil.or.id It is important that candidates use the application form which can be downloaded from the website.
Only short listed candidates will be given an official notification from the British Council. Those who are selected will be invited to attend the Assessment Days which will be held between 17–24 July 2006 in Makassar.
