[Singapore] Sembcorp Scholarship in NTU & NUS
The SembCorp Industries Undergraduate Scholarships are awarded to applicants of Indonesian nationality who have completed the SMU UAN (Ebtanas) in 2005, or are completing the SMU UAN (Ebtanas) in 2006, or its equivalent.
Applicants who have excellent actual SMU UAN (Ebtanas) results or the most recent school examinations results, or equivalent high school results will be considered. Candidates are expected to show strong records of participation in co-curricular activities. Candidates who are completing the SMU Ebtanas in 2006 may be required to sit for the University Entrance Examination (UEE).
Eligibility Criteria
Indonesian nationals who have completed the SMU Ujian Akhir Nasional (UAN) examination (IPA) or are completing SMU Ujian Akhir Nasional (IPA) in year 2006 are eligible to apply for the scholarships. Only students with outstanding high school results will be shortlisted for consideration.
Application Procedure
As the scholarship is offered to students admitted to NTU, students applying for the SembCorp Undergraduate Scholarship have to first submit the on-line application for admission to NTU. After successful submission of the on-line application form, you may apply for the scholarship here by keying in the application number assigned to you.
Applicants will need to submit a recent passport-size photo (digital image) with the following specifications at the end of the application form.

Terms And Conditions
- Covers the tuition fees and all compulsory
fees.
- One-off settling-in allowance of S$200.
- Accommodation allowance (pegged to the
lowest double room rate for on-campus accommodation).
- Annual living allowance of S$6,000.
- One-way air passage from home country
to Singapore at the beginning of the course of study.
- One-way air passage from Singapore to
home country at the end of the course of study.

May not hold any other
scholarship, fellowship, grant or award without approval
from the University
- Maintain a satisfactory Cumulative Average
Point (CAP). Academic performance is monitored each semester.

Tenable for minimum duration
of the course to which the scholar is admitted.

The University reserves
the right to request repayment, should the scholar terminate
the scholarship prematurely

The University does not
provide any assistance to travel or other costs nor
does it guarantee employment to the scholar upon graduation

Scholars are required
to serve a 6-year bond with the sponsoring company,
its subsidiaries or other approved Singapore-registered
companies
- Tenable for studies at the School
of Computing (Computing and Computer Engineering),
the Faculty of Engineering (Bioengineering,
Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering,
Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Industrial
& Systems Engineering) and the Faculty of
Science (excluding Pharmacy)
